My name is Wade Wingler.
I'm 37 years old.
A few years ago, I weighed 317 pounds and was pretty sure I would die before I reached 50.
The photos on the right show me in 2002 and in 2005. I'm pleased to say that I've lost over 100 pounds and have now moved on to the challenge of keeping the weight off.
Fair warning: In the end, what I'm about to share with you will basically boil down to: The best way to lose weight is to eat right and exercise. If you're looking for a pill, product, program or ploy, you'll not find it here. What you will find, however, is a story that may sound familiar to you and some common sense boiled down to a few 'rules to live by'.
Easter Day 2008 marked 4 years of the Sugar Busters diet.
Just a quick update: I'm still eating the Sugar Busters way. I'm still riding my bike regularly and I still haven't missed a single day of yoga since I started.
I REALLY enjoy the email and guest book entries that I've received from ALL OVER THE WORLD! Please keep them coming!

Well, since it's been almost three years since I lost 100 pounds, I thought I'd start a blog to keep you updated on my progress. I have to say that it hasn't been easy and it's not ALL good news. It is, however; honest and fair. I've experienced a few set backs but, overall, am still in pretty good shape, still on the Sugar Busters diet and still exercising daily.
